Welcome to the Year 3 and 4 Beech page!
We have been learning about World War Two as part of our topic work. We have built an air raid shelter in our cloakpeg area and have been listening to an air raid siren whilst sitting inside it. We have also been looking at images from the Second World war and thinking about how we would have felt at this time. We recorded our thoughts on the Easi Speaks that the PTA purchased for us. We also visited Bewdley Museum where we pretended to be evacuated and travelled from Bewdley to Highley on a steam train.
The Year 4 children completed a Bikeability course where they learnt about bike safety and hand signalling. They had great fun and all passed, so well done Year 4!
Some of the Beech children have been awarded their handwriting pens, so we are all concentrating extra hard on our handwriting at the moment and hoping to receive our pen in Celebration Assembly!
We have been learning Spanish this term and enjoyed practising our numbers on the Spanish dance mat!
Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve, diez!
