The children loved learning about the fascinating life of Florence Nightingale with Mrs Small, a very popular student teacher who was with us this half term. They loved all aspects of the topic, but the highlight was the dressing up and playing nurses and patients!
The children also loved learning about pushes and pulls in Science - they asked lots of questions and learnt about forces and gravity. The practical activities were really popular especially the cars on the ramps!
Our other topic was Space and this was probably the children's favourite - they brought in lots of information books and posters and really learnt a lot about all the different planets. They enjoyed designing their own planets and aliens and producing powerpoints about space.
As you can see we've been really busy this half term and next term there's lots of outdoor learning to do as we find out all about growing and sound......
