Break Time
 Children have regular breaks throughout the day. During the first one, which is taken in the classroom, children are encouraged to visit the toilet and to eat a piece of fruit and drink either water or milk. The school takes part in the National Fruit Scheme and all Key Stage 1 children are provided with a free piece of fruit each day. Milk is also available and if you would like your child to have a carton delivered to school, please inform the school administrator. There is a small charge for this once a child reaches the age of 5. During the second break children play outside for 10 minutes in the rear playground. A member of staff is on duty at all times.
 Lunch TimeChildren bring packed lunches in a named sandwich box and are allowed a sensible amount of time to eat it. Any food not consumed is sent home so that you can monitor what they are eating. We have 3 lunchtime supervisors and the children are well cared for in their hands
